Like a favored pair of jeans with all the worn parts in just the right spot, new patches promise to keep us comfortable versed having to break in something new.
Yet breaking in is just what Jesus is up to, smashing into earth unbothered and unafraid of the molds he breaks along the way, all to bring new wine, a fresh rule and New Life for even the likes of me and you.
Kind God of mercy, what new life are you ready to pour into me?
